# Circumpolar

Never setting: close enough to the celestial pole that, from your latitude, it circles the pole all night.

From latitude 40° north, every object with a declination above +50° is circumpolar — Ursa Major, Cassiopeia, the Double Cluster. The farther from the equator you live, the more of the sky never sets (and the more never rises).

**In AstroPilot:** Object pages say when something is circumpolar from your site.
